popular teacher, Belinda Sobie, has given master classes, in
jazz for the Royal Academy of Dance, Canadian Dance Teacher's
Association, Moosejaw Dance Society and the B.C. Jazz Dance
Association.
Her knowledge in
Jazz technique has given her the opportunity to teach summer
schools at virtually every major dance studio in the Lower Mainland
and Vancouver Island.
Belinda has adjudicated
and coached jazz for the Moosejaw Dance Festival, Alberta Dance
Festival, B.C Jazz Dance Festival, as well as for Ted Lange
of the "Love Boat".
As a successful
choreographer for stage, television and film, Belinda has choreographed
Westside Story (Jessie Award Nomination), The Best Little Whorehouse
in Texas, The Pajama Game, Guys & Dolls and Maz & Me's
Dinner Theatre Restaurant. Other credits include Booker, Escandalo
(Spain), Music Hallelujah (Seattle) and Rhythm of the Night.
She has assisted
in choreography for Theresa Teng's Orient Tour, Christmas in
Never Neverland and Radio Active Dreams!
